Linda & Gary Rousseau

A big welcome to our first members to join Lift4Life’s new Uplifters Program. Meet Linda @lifterlinda and Gary Rousseau!

Linda and Gary are a power couple at its finest, and have been long time donors and supporters of Lift4Life. They are particularly passionate about having their impact through educational scholarships and are donating funds to Lift4Life through the Jean Annis Foundation in memory of Linda’s sister. Both Linda and Gary came to Zimbabwe with us on the 2019 Lift4Life Outreach trip, and we are so excited to have them continue their legacy through the Uplifters Program.

A big welcome to another member to join Lift4Life’s new Uplifers Program - The Strength Guys @thestrengthguys

The Strength Guys have been long time supporters and donors of our cause (including being one of the first ever donors!), and in 2018 formally started “Coaching for a Cause” where a portion of all their athlete fees is donated directly to Lift4Life.

From coaching athletes, donating thousands of dollars over the past few years to make strength training accessible, to providing sponsorship funds for Lift4Life powerlifting meets, we are very excited to welcome them as a founding member of the Uplifters Program and help them continue their legacy with our organization.

A7

A welcome to another member to join Lift4Life’s new Uplifers Program - A7 @a7intl.

We have worked with A7 over the years including meet sponsorship & apparel collaborations, and we are honoured to formally have them as a founding member of The Uplifters.

We all have the power to make the world a better place. Seeing the values, actions, dedication, and community spirit Lift4Life stands behind lets us know that we are working with a Non-Profit truly enveloped in the ideas of humanity where the world they touch will become a better place. They teach more than the sport of lifting; they teach the aspects of life that are often overlooked by others. They help the great lifters in Zimbabwe raise chickens, grow crops, and teach the lost arts of self-reliance. We at A7 believe in Lift4Life and only wish more people and companies could support their philanthropic vision and persistence on making the world better a place for all.

Gabriel Reifinger

Dere! My name is Gabriel Reifinger and I am a Coach and Powerlifter in Austria. I have been training since I was 15 years old (so more than 6 years now). Two years ago I found my passion for Powerlifting and the sport gave me so much - and I don’t mean the injuries I deal with sometimes!

You get a choice in your life. Every day you have the choice to get 1% better, you get the chance to meet people, have a community and a successful life, and I cant describe what strength sports mean to me. For that reason, I’m involved in Lift4Life and I see a chance to give people chance in life, and to express their strength not only physically but also mentally. I want to see a world full of strong people, who support each other and have a good life. I’m honoured to be a part of the Lift4Life cause.

Maria - The EAT Method

The EAT Method is happily supporting Lift4Life in an effort to give back to marginalized communities and contribute to the positive impact on community needs. Growing up in Canada, I never really realized how much I had in terms of accessibility and availability of nutritious foods. In 2020, I moved back to the Philippines where I began to understand the true extent of food insecurity, and so I want to contribute to Lift4Life as they support and ensure the sustainability of marginalized communities via empowering through sport and promoting health. - MARIA MANRIQUE
